Come use all our materials for free, including sewing machines, fabric, patterns, large cutting tables, ironing station, and all kinds of sewing notions. We welcome participants to use this time to be social, finding others of like mind who enjoy sewing.
Make It Sew is a free sewing program to teach participants how to use a sewing machine. We then help guide participants in practicing their new sewing skills while providing easy to understand projects, along with all the materials.
We offer Sewing Machine Basics class on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Participants learn the anatomy of a sewing machine and how to use it.
There are 6 seats for each class. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Signups are not required.

This sewing machine guide is used in our Sewing Machine Basics class. It will help you learn how to use a sewing machine.
We recommend using quilting cotton fabric when first learning to sew. Other fabrics will require different sewing techniques, presser feet and needles.
Sewing machines, fabric, and sewing accessories are provided for FREE.
In addition, we have other various sewing accessories to be used to complete easy sewing projects. Materials such as, zippers, elastic, batting, buttons, bobbins, lots of different colored thread, fusing, ribbon, etc.
And we have all different kinds of fabric: cotton, fashion yardage, knit, fleece, flannel, etc.
You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine. We will be able to help you figure out how to use your machine and troubleshoot any problems.
