Want to learn how to use a sewing machine? Want free access to sewing machines, fabric and accessories?

Come use all our materials for free, including sewing machines, fabric, patterns, large cutting tables, ironing station, and all kinds of sewing notions. We welcome participants to use this time to be social, finding others of like mind who enjoy sewing.

What is Make-it Sew?

Make It Sew is a free sewing program to teach participants how to use a sewing machine. We then help guide participants in practicing their new sewing skills while providing easy to understand projects, along with all the materials.

  • Make-it Sew is self-directed, adding to your DIY journey. It is not a sewing class.
  • Adolescents 14 years and older can attend with a parent if they are participating in sewing.

Sewing Machine Basics (one-time class)

We offer Sewing Machine Basics class on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Participants learn the anatomy of a sewing machine and how to use it.

There are 6 seats for each class. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Signups are not required.

Check our events calendar for more information.
