Grand Reopening at TPL Main!
Tacoma Public Library Main Branch is ready to welcome Tacoma Tool Library back! We will celebrate The Main Event Grand Reopening Celebration on Saturday, February 1st.
Tool lending will resume on Saturday, 2/1 10am – 1pm out of our new space, suite 201, at TPL Main. To access the 2nd floor, the main entrance is at 1100 Court F.
During The Main Event Grand Reopening Celebration, the Tacoma Tool Library suite will be open for tours, including the new garage, woodshop makerspace and sewing room. Fix-it Nights will continue to be held at TPL Moore through the end of January. Fix-it Nights will then move to its permanent location at TPL Main. Thursday, February 6th will be the first night Fix-it Nights will be held at TPL Main with a new time of 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Make-it Sew will continue to be held at TPL Swasey through the end of January. Make-it Sew will then move to its permanent location at TPL Main continuing with the same time schedule of 2nd and 4th Tuesdays 6pm-7:30pm. Tuesday, February 11th will be the first Make-it Sew being held back at TPL Main.
