This year, the Tacoma Tool Library has continued to grow and thrive:
- Over 1,000 tools are loaned each month
- More than 1,200 active members, up from 744 last year
- Hundreds of neighbors joined Fix-it Nights, Make-it Sew and other free hands-on programs and workshops
In February, we celebrated our return to our forever home on the 2nd floor of the Tacoma Public Library Main Branch! The new 2,200-foot space was designed for us – complete with expanded tool storage, a dedicated maintenance room and easy roll-up access. All our programs are finally under one roof again, with access to shared spaces for programs, events and community gatherings.
